Debbie Moore has over 25 years industry experience and is passionate about raising industry standards and the need for good quality training. Taking on the role of Managing Director of the award winning Cedars Health & Beauty Centre, Debbie was fundamental in developing the charity Cedars Amethyst Trust where funds were raised to provide beauty therapy treatments for cancer patients and was Winner of Contribution to the Community Award.
Debbie Moore is business partner with Julie Speed and are also Directors of the International & Holistic Academy where they have worked to develop the Amethyst Trust signature training course; to enable salons and spas to welcome people with experience of cancer; to provide much needed massage therapies with the full support of the Penny Brohn Cancer Care. Debbie is the Amethyst Trust Secretary.
Debbie works as a beauty therapist at Cedars and specialises in: Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage and Hydrotherm Massage Therapy treatments.
Julie Speed has 30 years of experience in the industry, both working in a salon environment and in a training capacity with FE and private colleges; she also has experience in education and qualification development and is a highly qualified IPL specialist. Julie was Director of Operations for BABTAC & CIBTAC from 2010 to 2013, and a member of the Board before that. Working with business partner Debbie Moore, they operate Cedars Health & Beauty Centre in Gloucester.

John has a proven track record of helping therapists avoid the wrist and lower back problems associated with the provision of massage therapies with his invention of the Hydrotherm massage system. Powerful beliefs drive his passion for teaching therapists the benefits of understanding applied anatomy.
His Company HTS (International) Ltd sells and distributes the Hydrotherm systems and training throughout the UK, USA and Australia. John heads a small team of therapists at his very successful therapy clinic in Thame Oxfordshire working alongside his business partner Mark Webster and his friend and colleague Anna.
Unafraid to question and challenge the status quo within the massage community, John is especially proud to have worked alongside Julie Speed, Debbie Moore and Kerry Prentice in developing an approved training course for the provision of massage for those with cancer and setting up the Amethyst Trust. John is the Director of Education for the Amethyst Trust.
Managing Director, Angie Petkovic set up apt marketing & pr in 2000 to deliver ad-hoc or total marketing & pr support under one roof.
Since 2010, Angie and her team have been heavily involved in the beauty, sports & holistic industries representing one of the leading membership organisations, BABTAC and sister company CIBTAC. This experience has given the team a key understanding of the needs and wants of therapists, salons and training centres. apt were also instrumental in the cosmetic interventions review from the beginning, as well as other campaigns including Trailblazer and Human trafficking, giving them an in-depth understanding of consumer concerns and desires, Government lobbying and reputation management.
Angie became a trustee of the Amethyst Trust in 2010 and is responsible for the marketing & PR of the charity and raising the profile both within the industry and also with the general public.
Kelly Ramsay is an account manager at apt marketing & pr, working alongside Angie and her team. Kelly also has a background in the beauty industry. Her previous role as membership & marketing manager at BABTAC & CIBTAC enabled her to understand the issues that the industry currently faces including comprehensive insurance cover that supports the therapist as well as the client and enabling access to treatments without unnecessary levels of administration and red tape.
She is proud to be a trustee of the Amethyst Trust and working alongside the other trustees to bring training courses for those who have experienced cancer to the market.
